This is an excellent and scholarly presentation by author Erica Chenoweath on "Why Civil Resistance Works: Non-Violence in the Past and Future." For the record, we at Pacifist Fight Club believe that non-violence is the command of Jesus and part of His strategic plan to disarm the powers of darkness and to subversively change the world from within. However, Erica's research supports the viability of non-violence as an effective tool in the face of real-world violence and oppression. Enjoy!
