I had a conversation with several friends this week about war and the way of the Kingdom. I told them I was struggling to reconcile Jesus' commands to love our enemies with the American ethos that responds to every "enemy" with war. Christian pacifism is a very strange idea to most American Christians, but it's especially difficult when you live in one of the largest military areas in the country like I do. Pray for me to have wisdom and to love my friends and my enemies!
