The KEY Point of which we need to keep reminding others: Without the US invasion of Iraq, there would be no ISIS.
A line was crossed and we reap what we sow. I will not say anything against the attempt of Iraq to protect the fleeing Christians and others. As Charles Spurgeon said, "... if a nation is driven to fight in its own defence, Christianity stands by to weep and to intervene as soon as possible, and not to join in the cruel shouts which celebrate an enemy’s slaughter. . . The best way we can be salt and light on this issue is by calling our fellow Christians to repentance. The invasion of Iraq was supported by the cheerleading of many evangelical Christians. Millions of American Christians are fans of Charles Spurgeon but will never see a word of his concerning war and Christians.
